A very cleverly constructed tale about all of the different types of storytelling. They chose these 5 books as their favourites – Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book being declared as the top pick, but all very much loved. It is obviously one of the best children’s books ever written, in my humble opinion, but the aim of this post is to shine a spotlight on some other books from Julia Donaldson‘s amazing back catalogue.Īs an adult reader, I LOVE Julia Donaldson’s stories as not only do they rhyme which makes the reading experience so joyful, but they usually come with a moral message, so you get that satisfying feeling that comes from a great story when you’ve finished reading too.
